Imlil Day Trip from Marrakech

Pick up from your Riad/hotel in Marrakech at 08:00 am by your professional driver who will take you for a cultural day trip to Imlil in the Atlas Mountains.

After 40 minutes of driving, we will reach the first portion of the spectacular Atlas Mountains crossing the first administrative center of Tahanaouet that is famous for Tuesday's weekly Souk (market). The views of Berber Villages that are built-in adobe and stone on the feet of the hills offer majestic views.

After driving through Ansi, which is known for the Saturday weekly market, we will turn left passing by the Richard Branson's Moroccan Retreat before arriving in the village of Imlil where we will leave the car and embark on a soft hike up to the Berber house.

We will teach how to make the Moroccan tea with its traditional ritual, then a delicious meal for lunch will be served in this amazingly panoramic location. Later, we will continue the hike through the Berber Villages while learning about the unique lifestyle before getting to our car.

Head back to Marrakech through the Kick Plateau and Lalla Takerkouste water reservoir before reaching Marrakech in the late afternoon.
