Essaouira Day Trip from Marrakech

Pick up from your Riad/hotel in Marrakech at 09:00 am by your professional driver who will take you for a rewarding Essaouira day trip from Marrakech. Drive along the fertile plain in the outskirts before crossing the city of Chichaoua.

Later, we will include a short break in the Argan cooperative that is run by women offering an opportunity to learn about how the gold oil of Argan is extracted from the seeds using traditional methods. 

Once we arrive in Essaouira, you will explore the fortified Medina on your own as it is easy to navigate without the need of hiring a local tour guide. You may want to start your tour of Essaouira from the traditional fishing port, then get into the vibrant Medina, which was built in the 18th century by the Sultan Mohammed Ibn Abdellah, while walking alongside its walls and bastions.

Visit the fish market and enjoy a delicious fish meal for lunch. Later, you may want to stretch your legs by the sandy beach of the Atlantic that keeps attracting surfers and kite surfers in the world as Essaouira is often called the windy capital.

In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Marrakech where we will drop you off in the location of your choice hoping you had an enjoyable time with us.
