What to expect from the 3 Days Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour

We invite you to discover the majestic Sahara of Erg Chebbi by joining us for the 3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour. Enjoy the breathtaking of the spectacular Atlas Mountains, the palm valleys, have a camel ride experience in the desert, and overnight in a luxury desert camp before joining Marrakech through the dramatic Ait Benhaddou Village.

Detailed Itinerary

Pick up from your accommodation in Fes by your professional driver/guide at 08 am and embark on a 3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour. The first stop will be in the charming city of Ifrane, which has been selected as the 2nd cleanest city in the world. 

We will include another short break in the UNESCO-listed cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. The forest hosts a colony of endangered "Barbary Macaques", which we will spot and possibly feed.

After lunch near Midelt, we will cross the spectacular Atlas Mountains and stop for taking pictures in the palm valley of Ziz before arriving in the majestic Sahara desert in the late afternoon.

Go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the sunning view of the sunset. Get to the luxury desert camp where you will have a delicious meal for dinner before culminating the day with a relaxing sleep in your ensuite tent.

  • Overnight accommodation in a luxury desert camp including dinner & breakfast.

Wake up in the early morning to attend to the magnificent view of the sunrise atop the golden sand dunes. After breakfast and after taking a refreshing shower, we will resume our journey to the Dades Valley.

Pass by the city of Erfoud, which is famous for fossils and dates. Later, you will stretch your legs in the impressive Todra Gorges (Canyons) before getting to the lush Dades Valley where we will spend our second night.

  • Overnight accommodation in a comfortable Riad/hotel including dinner & breakfast.

After breakfast, we will head further west by driving across the lush valley of Roses before getting to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) with the option to make a visit to the Atlas Film Studios. 

Have a guided walking tour of the dramatic Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site since 1987. The village has been used as a backdrop for shooting national and international films including Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrence of Arabia, Sahara, Prince of Persia, and many others. 

After lunch, we will drive across the Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260 m) offering miraculous views before getting to Marrakech in the evening hoping you had a memorable experience with us.
